Well for any of you out there that follow me on social media you’ll know that I recently spent a week out in Tenerife doing the final part of my Tony Robbins ‘Leadership Mastery’ Training by attending his event Wealth Mastery (for the second time). I’ve now finished the three part training & have applied to become one of the organisation’s Senior Leaders where I get to continue attending events all over the world & use the skills that I have learnt to help hundreds of other people bring positive & meaningful changes into their lives. To say I’m pleased with the progress that I’ve made & the things that I have learnt is an understatement, if you’ve never attended one of Tony’s events you really need to start considering it, these events have changed my life & flipped me into over drive & really conditioned me mentally to tackle anything life throws at me & to go after anything that I really want to achieve.

So while I’m talking about seminars & events in this blog I wanted to talk about investing in yourself. So what does that mean to you? To me it’s about continuing to educate myself in the areas of my life that are important to me or that I feel I am weak in. Now personally I like to take an holistic approach because I’m keen to always expand and grow in every area of my life from my family through to my health & fitness for you it may be your finances your career or your spirituality for every body its different but I truly believe that we don’t ever stop learning, to me “everyday is a school day.”

Investing in myself has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made & actually just using the language of “investing in myself” rather than saying “spending money on a course” really has been the difference that’s made the difference in my life.

I used to be of the mindset that once school was over that was it, you go out get a job, learn what you need to do that job effectively & then carry on with life, my mindset now however has completely changed & since taking that leap into attending seminars, reading more books & listening to audio books every single area of my life has got drastically better.

Now this isn’t a sales pitch its really just some friendly advice, I get nothing from saying any of this stuff but if you have the opportunity to go to any kind of personal development seminar, in particular a Tony Robbins seminar then my advice is to grab the opportunity with both hands. If you can’t get to a seminar then pick up a book, listen to an audio program or maybe even just read some articles on the internet that are going to give you some sort of knowledge that you didn’t have before that can help you improve an area of your life that you want to make better.

During my first time at Wealth Mastery in 2013 not only did I get to learn some great content but I was given tools, techniques & strategies that completely turned my financial situation around & after going back this year it was incredible to see the progress that I had made by applying those lesson to my finances & taking action. Because of the circles that Tony Robbins moves in you get access to some of the most successful people on the planet who pour their knowledge & experience into you, people like Keith Cunningham (Robert Kiyosaki’s Rich Dad), Michael Smorch a billionaire who owns one of the top ten hedge funds in the world, Peter Diamandis the founder & chairman of the X-Prize & property millionaire Dean Graziosi to name but a few.

Right now as I sit here typing I’m part way through taking my financial situation to the next level, I wrote so many notes throughout the week that I was getting cramps. I woke up at 0500 this morning to review all of my notes & started setting myself goals, I’ll be up at 0500 for the next week or two continuing to go over the notes & set goals until I have everything I need in place & then I’ll spend time taking massive action to make my goals a reality & I can say without a shadow of a doubt that if I hadn’t invested in myself & took the time out of my life to attend courses like this then I’d still be where I was 3 years ago.

Now its not just financial education there are hundreds of courses out there that cover hundreds of different subjects with hundreds of different guru’s teaching the content I just happen to think Tony Robbins is the best of the best & that has reflected in my life. So if you want to improve your fitness, relationships, career what ever the case maybe (Tony covers them all) then please don’t sit there thinking about it, get on-line start looking to see what suits your needs & works around your commitment’s & get out there & start taking charge its made an incredible difference in my life & its my hope for you that if you decide to take action & start investing in yourself today that it’ll make all of the difference for you as well.

Until next time
