Mark served for just under 10yrs with the Royal Marines (Feb 2001 – July 2010). After suffering the loss of three limbs & being medically discharged he was lucky enough to secure a full time job working with one of the Corps charities, The Royal Marines Association (RMA). The job he did involved fundraising, welfare work & recruiting, it also involved him working alongside the RMA’s sister charity The Royal Marines Charity (TRMC).
In early 2015 Mark was asked to become an ambassador for the TRMC, a role that he accepted with great pride.
In 2019 the Royal Marines Association & The Royal Marines Charity merged to become RMA – The Royal Marines Charity, a team that Mark is still hugely proud to be a part of.
Other RMA – The Royal Marines Charity Ambassadors include Bear Grylls, Henry Cavill & Tom Hardy who all do what they can when they can to help raise awareness and funds for this extremely worth while charity.
